This new bar, inside an old banking building, on the Overtoom is prominent because of its interior. Maybe you can recognize the tables and sofas from your grandmother’s tasteless interior, but in this setting they suddenly look hip.
The Simple bar is a multifunctional bar where you can have a bite, a drink or even a dance. The crowd consists of expats and locals from the neighborhood, which is Oud-West (one of the most likeable neighborhoods in town).
The dishes served by the Simple bar are, as being said, simple, and the prices are surmountable. So, chat with some locals, have a quick bite or a simple drink at the Simple bar, and after that you can walk to Leidseplein which is just around the corner.  Sounds like a perfect night to us!
